Self evaluation and response to peer reviews and Dr. A’s comments
I think that the Prezi is lacking in depth and that there are photos that do not have a strong enough purpose to remain. For example, the thumbs up and thumbs down photos have a purpose but they are not really clear and strong. I have yet to add in photos and phrases to suppress any skepticism that may arise in the audience. I also need to give some more success stories or ratings from current users.
My peers suggested that i would add more items in Prezi that link it to the readings. They did not give any specific examples of how I would accomplish this. In the week 11 responses I address how I connect the Prezi to the readings in detail.
In response to Dr A's comments i will remove the thumbs up/ down photos, they are more confusing and do not contribute enough to the message. I will add a second photo in the beginning with a scale to widen the demographic. The first photo is a picture of an Overweight person, but there are also people who want to lose weight who are not obese, the new second photo will account for this group of people (maybe they only want to drop a few pounds for the beach). I will add histograms (that reveal Ultra Slim overthrowing the competition), phony quotes from prestigious magazines (stating that Ultra Slim is #1) , and add in some celebrities approving Ultra Slim (I will add photos of familiar faces, smiling and giving thumbs up, these individuals must be well known, such as Opera). I will also remove the photo of the man with his head in his hands (which includes the phrase "It Just Aint Right"), this phrase is cheesy and the photo is weak (does not add to the message very much). I will also mention that Ultra Slim is extremely safe to use, i think this is very important to the audience.
I will make some final adjustments to the Prezi. At the suggestion of Dr A. i have removed one of the 3 histograms. Two should be plenty to make my point, i have removed the one that states that Ultra Slim will give quicker results than all the other products on the marked. I have left the other two histograms which state that Ultra Slim with have long lasting results and weight loss power. These two things are more important to the audience than the one i have decided to remove.
